Reports Overview

Get Connected offers a wealth of pre-populated reports in the following areas:

To view a report:

  1. From your Manager Panel, click, Reports.

    You will see a list of reports grouped by category: needs, agencies, users, events, and advanced events.
  2. Select the report to view.
  3. As needed, use the Date Start and Date End fields to specify a range.
  4. Click Go.

All reports can be exported into a spreadsheet by clicking Export Report on the right-hand side of your screen.

Our available reports comprise those that system administrators have requested over the years. If you find that you need a report not listed here, please let us know. At the very least, we will get your data for you. When we encounter ideas for reports that will be useful to all Get Connected sites, we often add or modify existing reports to include the new information.

Needs Responses Submitted by Agency

Needs that have received the most responses within a given date range; does not include deleted responses.

Needs Added By Week

Number of needs posted per week; includes deleted needs.

Today's Shifts

All scheduled shifts for a select day or date range, along with the number of volunteer slots that are still open. Needs are clickable and will open the "Volunteers Available" report. 

Need Title, Agency, Shift Start and End Times, Number of Responses, Total Slots, Number of Open Slots

Volunteers Available

For a selected shift, shows all volunteers who are scheduled, as well as those may be available for a selected shift. Availability is determined by the available days and times a volunteer has selected in their profile.

Note: This report is accessible only by going to the "Today's Shifts" report and clicking on a shift.

User Name, User Email, User Phone, Status, Qualifications, User Groups

Advanced Events

The Advanced Event Summary report shows a comparison of all active advanced events on your site. It shows each event's title, start and end date, number of agencies that participated, number of needs posted, number of companies and teams involved, total volunteer slots, total need responses, and total of volunteer hours submitted.

Under the Agencies heading, the following reports are available:

Data for seeing which agencies are most active on your site.

Under the Users heading, the following reports are available:

For sites that run a Dollars for Doers type of program; shows all volunteers with approved hours within a specified date range, along with favorite agency.

Users by Zip Code

Users within each ZIP code entered on the site; includes deleted users (since they signed up before they were deleted).

Time from Registration to Response

Time taken between registering on the site and responding to a need; includes deleted users and deleted responses.

Repeat Volunteerism Totals

Number of volunteers who have responded to needs one or more times; includes deleted users and deleted responses.

Repeat Volunteerism User List

Most frequent volunteers and the agencies and needs to which they’ve responded.

Hours logged by individual volunteers, along with the agencies with which they volunteered.

Details about the active qualifications on your site, included number of associated needs and users.

Events

The Events RSVP report shows all events that were active on your site for a selected date range, along with the number of RSVPs submitted. It shows the event ID and title, start and end dates, number of "Yes," "No," and "Maybe" RSVPs, and the number of users who were invited.

Disaster Response

The Volunteer Skills and Services report is generated from the Disaster Response Module (DRM); this report will contain data only if your site has the DRM and if volunteers have filled out their disaster profiles.

This report lists the user IDs, first names, and last names of all volunteers who have a disaster profile, along with their mobile phone number, if provided. It also has columns for each of the skills and services listed in the Skills and Services form of the disaster profile, and has an "X" to indicate which skills and services each volunteer has marked in their disaster profile.

Important: Because there are so many skills and services, the full report cannot fit on your screen. You must export the report to a spreadsheet in order to see all skills and services for all volunteers.

Connection Reports

Connection reports are available to sites where data is being shared via a Galaxy Link. A site will have data in this report if their data are flowing to other sites. These reports allow you to see activity on the sites to which your data are flowing.

General Reports

There are four general Connect reports: the Agency Report, the Need Report, the Event Report, and the User Report. You can use each of these reports to mine data about different elements of performance on specific sites ("portals") with which you share data using the Galaxy Link. For each, you must select the site that you want to view. You can view data for only one site at a time.

User Report

Data related to the users on your shared sites

User ID, Status, Name, and Email; Total Responses and Hours per User; Hours Value per User; RSVP Totals; Number of Agencies Fanned per User; Donation Value per User; Number of Donations per User; Number of Causes and Interests Selected

Reports by Domain

The domain reports show data for each site with which your site is sharing information.
